I couldn't serve these to my husband because of the small bacon bits in the puree. I had hoped this just had bacon flavor because he needs a smooth, pudding like consistency and this doesn't meet his dysphagia requirements.It has a brown color and is bland tasting. I don’t like it at all.Easy to fixI suffer from dysphagia and I havnt eaten anything so flavorful in a long time. I debated on this purchase for awhile due to the price but I'm glad i finally tired this I will be buying more of these productsOne has to look very close to the Amazon page to find mention of bacon bits.Unfortunately, the bacon bits are bits. If there is severe difficulty in swallowing, then these bits will cause difficulty.For myself, I tolerate the bacon. But have the food pureed more. Which helps. SHRUGIf you are putting it in a feeding tube then you will be ok. The taste was horrible. It task like a plastic packet gone bad. I had MREs from 25 years ago that tasted fresher than this.My mom has Alzheimer’s it works perfectly she’s able to eat it In her own time and way. Great product I’m happy they made it.My hubbies favorite. He has trouble swallowing since cancer surgery, these are a lifesaver!
