These work with hot water but I usually opt for adding milk and and butter. Add some garlic powder and black pepper and you've got garlic mashed potatoes. Use them to thicken any recipe, like a gravy for stew, if you're looking for a gluten-free thickener. I often use them to create a quick beef/chicken/turkey commercial sandwich lunch for my husband. Imo, they're not as good as real potatoes, but my husband is perfectly happy with them so I consider them a quick win.Yum. Definitely a light garlic taste. So if you eon like that beware. Tastes great as is. With ketchup the garlic can't even be tasted. If you have leftovers refrigerate and fry the next am in light oil. Excellent.
