The company was AWESOME about refunding my purchase and apologized for the shipper losing my purchase. I reordered and I am SO glad I did. Unlike potato flakes, these potatoes are in weird little pearls. But once you add the hot water...silky smooth mashed potatoes. No clumps or lumps. Adjust the water ratio and you can get nice stiff peaks that hold up perfectly to gravy, cheesy vegetables, or whatever else you like to top your mashed potatoes with. Add a little extra and you get ultra creamy soft peak mashed potatoes to cover casserole dishes like shepherd's or cottage pies. Great for single servings!!! Works great for a quick and hearty potato soup as well!
